OVERVIEW:
The need to eliminate or reduce risk associated faults in embedded systems (chips) is growing significantly. We developed the self-repairing computer (chip) and provide safety IP for chip developers enabling them to mitigate any kind of fault.
Our target market segment, the high-end safety FPGA (field-programmable chip) market, is USD 1.5 B and growing at 12-30% p.a. Further more, the equivalent ASIC (standard chip) is estimated at USD +10 B.
On contrary to current state-of-art technology, Biomicore offers a self-repairing mechanism whereby the functionality of a faulty part of a chip is reconstructed on a spare part thus mitigating multiple faults and enabling second-to-none reliability.
Our prototype implemented successfully at NASA JPL. We are in dialogue with our first customers and ready to ramp up. The initial startup team is in place - but further recruitment planned upon funding.
