Not Worth the Trip to Vancouver

PUBLIC:

VanEdge was pitched to me as a new game-centric VC, but they don't have many interesting game companies in their portfolio, and only two outside Canada.

Not a Match, but Good Feedback

PUBLIC:

Had a meeting with Glenn Entis to pitch our company. It took quite a lot of pestering to get the meeting, and had to be really persistent (despite several personal references), but it was worth it.

He was very honest and direct about us being too early for their fund, but he still generously offered his time to review our presentation, ask some really good questions, and leave us with a lot of good things to think about.

He left the door open for us to reconnect with us at a later stage in our company's evolution -- and I got the sense that he was sincere about the offer.

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to provide us with any referrals or other suitable leads. But they are quite new and still growing their network, so I suppose that's understandable.
