Since its inception in 1997, syndicates involving IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH provided funds worth some Euro 470m to Berlin based companies in technology related sectors, out of which IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH contributed around Euro 66m as Lead-, Co-Lead- or Co-Investor. Since November 2004, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is in charge of managing the "VC Fonds Berlin" fund. Since January 2008, it is in charge of the recently closed funds "VC Fonds Technologie Berlin" (Euro 52m) for companies in the technology space and "VC Fonds Kreativwirtschaft Berlin" (Euro 30m) for companies in creative industries.
