Granite invested in our Series B. Standish O'Grady was on our board. He is very fair and extremely supportive. One thing that impressed me with Granite is that the whole partnership supports their investments. Serveral times when I told Standish about a job opening I wanted to fill I would get emails from the other partnerns with candidates they highly recommended. They even pitched the story about our business to several journalists that ended up writing stories on us. Also, these guys are fast. From term sheet to having the cash in our bank account was less than a month. During our acquisition negotiations they provided some great guidance that helped us complete a good exit to a fortune 500 company.
