Portland Venture Group a Waste of Time & Money for Oregon Startups

Portland Venture Group is a bit of a joke amongst Oregon startups, it is not a investment group as much as it is a social club. Many companies I know have pitched them, but they have never actually funded anything, at least not in the past few years. As they drag things on they will ask you to pay $250 to cover "room charges" but you are actually buying the members dinner, no dinner for you though, you have to wait outside until they are ready for you.
