Easy to Work with and Extremely Helpful

PUBLIC:

The first time I pitched to Dan and Rob, we were unsuccessful but the experience was pleasant and quick. We were OK with their rejection, especially a fast one. It saves time.

We understood their reasons and found them understandable from their point of view. But nevertheless, they were open-minded that they gave us a second look a few months later after we made more progress, and the second time, they agreed to invest. This time, they felt an increased comfort with the team we have and they also got more informed about the idea and the market positioning despite that we were still kind of too early stage for them.

The process was quite transparent and expedient in both cases. It just makes it easy to have a discussion.

Since then, they have been extremely helpful in their suggestions, business referrals, help me with interviewing my VP of Sales and Marketing (which TWC recruited for FREE) and has been generally helpful when I asked for help especially when my management team was still quite thin.
