I raised my series A round of funding when Carl Stjernfeldt was still with Battery Ventures. Carl served on our board for several years, and he worked closely with our company during series B and subsequent rapid growth of our business. Carl is organized, sharp and very thorough in conducting due diligence. Carl's technical background in the communications and software spaces is impressive; he projects a common-sense approach to business that is grounded in personal experience ... very refreshing in the VC business. His reputation for pointed no-nonsense questions and valuable insights is well deserved.
