Nicolas El Baze is a Fantastic Board Member

While the fund is not as well known as many on Sand Hill, it has a few real gems within. Nicole El Baze is one.

Nicolas is a serial entrepreneur who actually rolls up his sleeves and helps out. I had him as a board member when he was just starting out with Partech. We went through the ups and downs of the bubble together, and he was unwaivering in compassion, thoughtfulness and discipline.

if you have a chance, get this guy on your board. Partech isn't the most powerful brand in the Valley. Once you realize that doesn't matter *at all* (we had those brands too), you'll be thrilled you've got real guys like him on your board.
