Interesting Post, Feedback, and Response

PUBLIC:

There is an interesting debate going on about this post on www.HireAHelper.com: How Do I Get Out of the Catch 22 Of The VC Process"

With over 25 pieces of Feedback, this CEO is creating quite a response from Members, including one of my personal favorite pieces Feedback (re-published with agreement from the poster):

OK so all of the previous comments have been very interesting. I argue however that not all great opportunities are fundable. In my case, we pitched several VC's who candidly told us that the idea was great, and the business model was interesting but that our area (intellectual property) was not at all on any VC's radar screen. Their advice was to go find a way to bootstrap and show success and then if we still needed the money come back. We have completely changed our business model to do just that. One of the best quotes from our pitching process was that VC's are like visionary sheep. Only one of them has a the guts and the vision to try something new and then the rest follow.

The "Catch 22" post has also been picked up by mainstream media, such as this reference in the blogs for Entrepreneur magazine. If any venture capitalist or angel investor wants to help www.HireAHelper.com, TheFunded.com will be happy to publish the story. The site appears well executed with a solid concept...

Enjoy!
